Steven Quinlan Head PGA Professional Coach

Steven is a fully qualified PGA Professional Coach with teaching facilities at both Celbridge Golf Range and Moyvalley Hotel and Golf resort.

Turning professional in 2013 after winning the Barton Cup with Killeen GC, Steven started his training in Lucan GC where he developed a passion for coaching and developing golfers of all skill levels from beginner to elite to allow them to enjoy this wonderful game. During his time in Lucan he honed his skills by planning and delivering individual, ladies and junior group lessons.

Moving from Lucan GC into Halpenny Golf allowed him to further expand his knowledge within the industry. With his desire to learn and improve he quickly became head of custom fitting and product training within the company. He was able to continue to develop his coaching skills whilst continuing to teach all levels of players and also took the opportunity to deliver beginner and intermediate golf programmes for companies such as Alliance Insurance.

In September 2018 he made a decision to take on a full time coaching role in Celbridge Golf Range. Steven’s upstairs studio boasts a twin hitting bay, indoor putting green, outdoor artificial putting and short game area complete with 2 bunkers. Using a Trackman launch monitor which collects 26 different data parameters enables Steven to collect all necessary club and ball information in order to optimise golfers improvements and eliminate any guesswork.

In September 2020 Steven took a position as Head Teaching Professional at Moyvalley Hotel and Golf Resort. Boasting an 18 hole Championship course, full driving range with both grass and covered bays, and an extensive short game area containing a variety of bunkers 2 large pitching & chipping greens and an additional large putting green all built to USGA standard.
